Lost or Stolen Mastercard® Debit Card

If your Mastercard® Debit Card is lost or stolen, please do the following:

Report it immediately by calling us at 609-641-6300 during business hours.

Think Your Identity Has Been Stolen? Take These Steps.

Identity theft can happen to anyone. If you believe your personal or financial information has been compromised, act quickly using the steps below.

Step 1: Contact FNBA

Call 609-641-6300 (business hours) to place a hold on your accounts and prevent further unauthorized activity.

Step 2: File a Police Report

Contact your local law enforcement agency to file an official identity theft report. Keep a copy of the report number for your records.

Step 3: Place a Fraud Alert with the Credit Bureaus

Contact any one of the three major credit bureaus to place a fraud alert. They are required to notify the others:
Equifax: 1-800-525-6285
Experian: 1-888-397-3742
TransUnion: 1-800-680-7289

Step 4: Report to the FTC

Call the Federal Trade Commission Identity Theft Hotline at 877-438-4338 or visit IdentityTheft.gov to file a report and build a personal recovery plan.

Step 5: Contact the Social Security Administration

If you believe your Social Security number has been misused, contact the SSA Office of Inspector General fraud hotline at 1-800-269-0271.

Suspect Check Fraud? Call Us Right Away.

If you notice an unauthorized check drawn on your account, a check that has been altered, or any other suspicious check activity, contact FNBA immediately. Do not wait for the transaction to fully clear. Early reporting gives us the best chance to stop the fraud and recover your funds.

Additional check fraud tips: Never give your account number or routing number to anyone you do not trust. Shred unused checks and old statements. Review your account statements regularly through FNBA online banking and report any discrepancy right away.

Common Questions

How do I lock my debit card?

You can lock your FNBA debit card instantly using the Card Suite Lite. Simply open the app, navigate to card controls, and toggle the lock. Your card will be blocked from new transactions immediately. You can unlock it the same way whenever you are ready. If you do not have the app, call 609-641-6300 (business hours) to request a card block.

Act quickly. First, call FNBA at 609-641-6300 to secure your accounts. Then file a police report with your local law enforcement agency. Place a fraud alert with any one of the three major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, or TransUnion) and they will notify the others. Report the theft to the FTC at 877-438-4338 or IdentityTheft.gov. If your Social Security number was compromised, contact the SSA fraud hotline at 1-800-269-0271.
